I`m old enough to remember Rover when it was classed as a premium brand. I can remember my dad bring home a Rover Sd1 in the late 1970s and thinking to myself, wow, what a luxurious car. Sadly the writing was on the wall for Rover as it went into decline during the 1990s. Come the Millennium and the group was in a dire position and eventually production ceased in 2005. I still can`t believe a company like Rover was left to go down the pan. Sadly the only Rovers that you see on the roads of Great Britain will now be used examples. People were initially worried about buying Rovers once the brand has ceased production. They thought there might be a shortage of Used Rover Parts but this hasn`t been the case. Salvage companies have been set up that specialise in Used Rover Parts and their databases stock a wide list of essential parts.
